Mariya Aliko Dangote serves as the Executive Director of Operations at Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc. Before her appointment in July 2023, she was the Director of Strategy and BIP Support, bringing extensive expertise in risk management and business strategy to the role.

Mariya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Bayero University, Kano, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Coventry University in the United Kingdom.

She previously served as the Group Strategy Lead at Dangote Industries Limited, a role she held until her transfer to Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc in 2019. Her leadership and strategic insights have been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and operational excellence.
